GYROPLANE FLIGHT DESCRIPTION

The gyroplane is a rotary-wing aircraft, in other words, it flies like an aeroplane, but the wing is a rotor that spins due to the action of relative wind passing through it from the bottom upwards. It’s a hybrid between a fixed-wing aircraft and a helicopter

But, you’ll agree with us that flying in an aircraft but not getting behind the controls isn’t the full flying experience you ever wanted. That is why we give you the opportunity to do so, handing you the control of our gyroplane and piloting. You will experience many different sensations during this flight over the surroundings of Malaga.

Are you ready? The departure point will be at Villanueva del Trabuco aerodrome, where you will receive a quick training about the gyroplane control and operation. After you have learnt all you need to know, you will have to choose between two options and start flying. After a few minutes, the pilot will give you the signal to take the controls and complete some manoeuvres. This activity is 2 hours length: 30 minutes – 1 hour for explanation and induction to the activity and 1 hour for the flight.

Are you nervous? The feeling of excitement is the only thing you should be nervous about, since the activity will be carried out under all the required safety measures.

The gyroplane is a unique aircraft, which has been around for several decades. They were the first rotary-wing aircraft to fly successfully and with enough control. The gyroplane design is one of the most versatile in aeronautics and by far the safest and most reliable ever built.

We have a philosophy of safe flying: to achieve this we control three parameters: pilot experience, weather conditions (even though the gyroplane can endure moderate turbulence, we prefer a stable atmosphere for the passenger’s enjoyment) and a careful maintenance conducted in the ELA factory by specialized engineers, in order to make this experience as safe and enjoyable as possible.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
– The minimum age to fly is 16 years old. Children over 12 years old can fly with parental permission.
– The flight hours are orientative and vary on various factors such as weather conditions.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING:
– It is recommended to wear comfortable and sporty clothes.

About Cancellation Policy

– Cancellation 4 days or more before the agreed start date of the activity. You will be automatically refunded the full activity fee.

– Cancellation between 48 and 96 hours before the agreed activity start date. You are reimbursed 50% of the full activity fee.

– Cancellations submitted less than 48 hours before the agreed start date of the activity are considered as last minute cancellations. No refund will be possible.
